Sorry it has taken me a long time to return, my son has taken the laptop to uni making it difficult to get on line.
Unfortunately Caroline is still having problems ,not only with her crohns / recovery after her 3 surgeries but after suffering a second seizure.

Her consultant referred her ,after reviewing the brain scan , to a specialist who
requested an in depth mri of the brain and further tests. It looks like caroline his either epilepsy or a more serious brain condition. Her short term memory has been affected and she can completely forget something you have told her only hours before. She is also unable to be on her own or look after Autumn . As you can imagine this has been very stressful and upsetting as she spent the first 3 months away from Autumn and since coming out of hospital has not been either well enough or allowed to do all the things she dreamed about with her beautiful daughter .
Paul had to take unpaid leave to look after them both but finances dictate he returns next week and they have employed a carer.
She has 2 scans next week for her crohns and is awaiting the date for her brain tests after having the mri last week. I will try and keep you more informed.

Autumn is doing really well, she has put on weight and nearly caught up to her due date with regard to weight. I will try and post some pictures when I can figure out how to do it.

Caz said to say hi and thanks to everyone for their support

Hello I am Caz’s sister . Paul asked me to post as he has been looking after Autumn and Caz so just didn’t have time to get back here (he asked me to post this a couple of weeks ago, sorry ). Caz is finally on the up but very weak. We very nearly lost her and I was worried she didn’t have the strength to come through it . I don’t know where she found the strength after undergoing 3 surgeries in 3 weeks as well as having a baby but she has. Caz spent 2 weeks in HDU, and had a further 3 collapsed lungs , nearly 3 months in hospital due to the wound fistulating and her being so awfully ill.
Just as things were looking up she has a massive seizure, foaming at the mouth ,rigid muscles, bit her tongue etc, she was totally unresponsive for about 15 minutes (may be longer). They have done a brain scan and she is due to see a consultant in Feb but we wondered if anyone else had suffered these and if they could throw any light on why it happened. On a positive note my beautiful niece is doing wonderfully, she is now 8.7llbs , she is a beauty with huge blue eyes , rose bud mouth and fairy hair , just like Caz. Thanks Cath.

PS Paul asked me to thank you for your thoughts and prayers, they were much appreciated.
